We offer a selection of two afternoon activities each week, free of charge:

Hike to Cerro de la Cruz 		National Parks workshop
Costa Rica History workshop.
Pronunciation workshop		  
 
And, If you would like more to keep you busy there’s more to choose from.

Our optional activities cost as little as $10.

Our National Sports Complex

The National Sports Complex located in Nicoya, provides an olympic swimming pool, jogging track, tennis court, basketball court, soccer field and more for your enjoyment. And, the entrance fee is less than $1. Open everyday until 6PM.

Our Local Gym

Enjoy a good workout with the help of your personal trainer. Open Monday through Friday from 6A-12N & 2P-9P and Saturday mornings. The cost is only $2 per session, or a one month unlimited membership is $25. Personal trainer fees are additional.

Soccer Night

Cheers and excitement are always at hand when you attend a Nicoya "fútbol" match.  Teams from throughout the country participate in the competition, and Nicoya historically is rated one of the best.   Passionate fans make Futbol the number one sport in Costa Rica.

Concert in the Park

Each Sunday the Nicoya orchestra performs in the park. Alternating Sundays the performance is either in the morning or early evening. Not to be missed. Hear the sounds of a bi-gone era of American big bands, and of course hear the beats of the latin music.
